What is CHOLERA?
It is an acute, diarrheal illness caused by infection of the intestine with the bacteria.
In most cases shows no symtomps, but can be deadly if kept untreated.
It spreads through cominated water.
Cause
Cholera is caused by a Vibrio cholerae bacteria.
The bacteria produces toxins in the intestine leading to diarrhea.

Prevention and Treatment
TREATING CHOLERA
REHYDRATION THEREPY
The primary treatment for hcolera patients, refers to the prompt restoration of lost fluids and salts.
ANTIBIOTIC THEREPY
This reduces fluid requirements and duration of illness, and is indicated for severe cases of cholera.
